I got Von Flued
Date: 22 September 2010
Members Present : Mark, Charles, and Joy (spectator)
I got Mark in my guard when suddenly he grabs my head like a scarf hold then quicly inserted his shoulder into my throat. I tapped.
Then, second round, Mark went for a single leg. I sprawled then sank in a Darce choke. He tapped.
In the end, we both promised to do better. I was so out of shape that I was out of breath after an hour and 30 minutes.

CBSUA Ghost Stories 6
His head lifted only to drop back down to the book.
The lady librarian was looking at him. Guards don't usually read inside the library. A lot of people actually think that guards are people with low IQ's. If they have IQ of the normal range they would be holding better jobs.
These people are mistaken.
Raymund, now glued to the book ignored the piercing glance of the librarian. If there are people more despised than the guards in this school it would be the librarians. Students just hate them.
I don't know what it is, but students just think that librarians are mean and pushy. They don't hate all of them of course.
Raymund's reading was interrupted by the chatter of two library employees.
"Ano ba naman yun estudianting yun...pa english english pa, wala naman sa amerika"
"Oo nga. Kala mo kung sino"
Funny. These people forgot that all around them are books printed in English. The Philippines has two official languages, English and Filipino. What I don't get is why they despise people who can speak English.
People go to the Philippines to learn English. People who despise other people for using one of the official languages should find themselves on the next boat or plane out of the country.
YOU DON'T BELONG HERE.
Ignoring the noisy staff, Raymund goes back to his reading.
"If I remember correctly, I heard them say 'Nani ga shitte iru ka?'"
Raymund looks for the word. "Maybe its a sentence. Let's see"
"Nani" He found the first. "It means 'what' "
Flipping the pages he found the second. "Shitteiru, it means 'DO' "
"And 'Ka' is a question particle."
Moments later he closed the book. Understanding shimmer in his eyes yet at the same time confusion.
"The other ghost was actually protecting me from the first"

What happens when you break environmental laws?

I took these photos at the CSU compound located at the Capitol Complex. A few blocks from CWC. These vehicles were impounded by Sagip Kalikasan for violations of a couple of laws governing logging, fisheries, and sand quarying.
I was told that fines up to P 100,000.00 are imposed to law breakers.
So, respect Mother Earth or suffer the wrath of the Law.
Good Job Sagip Kalikasan.
FAILURE TO SEGRAGATE
Prohibits the mixing of waste materials from different sources. In other words, non segregation of waste is against the law.

The Penalty is imprisonment from 1 to 6 years and a fine of P300.00 to P 1,000,000.00
There should be separate trash boxes for each kind of waste. Plastics from food stuff must be separated from those taken from hazardous chemicals like formaldehide.

Solid Waste Management of CBSUA

There seem to be a problem with the Solid Waste Management here in our university.

I don't think piling it this way is very eco-friendly.
Do you not know that there's a penalty for doing this?
These are piles found at the side of the MPS Building and Humanities Building.

CBSUA Ghost Stories 5
Like most people, he believed that ghosts are not present in the bright of day. But where would they go during daylight? Hollywood has done a lot to obscure our beliefs.
It was Sunday, and the corridor was very quite. His memories took him back to that night when he encountered the ghost. And the apparent rescue he recieved from a teenager. The teenager who was talking to Mr. Prokupos.
Whats going on? Raymund was full of questions. Mr. Prokopus seemed to regard the boy with a bit of respect. A slight difference. As if the boy was superior.
Is he a school official? More questions flood his mind. Questions whose answers he may never find. Unless he ask Mr. Prokopus himself. I doubt he'll give it though.
Who were those people?
"Raymund!" Somebody shouted from the entrance. By now he was well into the bathroom. "Raymund, nandito ka ba?"
"Rey, nandito ako."
"Pinapatawag ka ni boss. Buti pala nalipat ka na din sa day shift."
"Oo nga eh" Secretly, Raymund wished he can be assigned to the night shift again.
He wanted to know so bad, that he is willing to shut his fear off. I need to know. He told himself.
"Yes, he will be. Its not just once but thrice did a dark spirit evade me in the past. If I have him, there would be no chance a spirit can escape"
A small white stone was inside the box.
"I wonder though Nelson. Its been 10 years since you joined the force. I think you're the only operative from your batch that hasn't achieved Spirit Master level yet."
"I working on it"
Mr. Prokopus just smiled at the comment. The teenager reciprocated it with his own smile before taking the stone and handing it to the old guard.
"Don't feel too pressured though." He then takes an envelope from his jacket's inside pocket and hands it to the older gentleman as well. "I'm always happy whenever you call for my help"
"Hehehehe. You mean, you're always happy to add another hundred on your arsenal"
"Ofcourse"
Both of them laughed.
Yet the conversation hardly shed any light.
Who are these people?
It seems like Raymund wasn't imagining at all.
The conversation about spirit binding did indeed happen. The incident at the MPS building transpired as he believed it did.
That young man. Just who is he?

CBSUA Ghost Stories 4
Raymund found himself staring at the ceiling. Nelson Prokopus was standing on his right.
"Nasan ba ako?" he said softly more to himself than to the old guard. Somehow, the place was familiar.
His memories took him right back to a couple of hours ago. "ano bang nangyari?"
Then, he remembered. There was a teenage kid talking with Mr. Prokopus. "Ano ba yung pinag uusapan nila?"
"Ano yun?"
"Naku wala ho." He sat up and tried to stand but decided to stay sitting. A throbbing headache was upon him. He looked around and realized why the place looked familiar. The place was actually the guards living quarters.
"Sir, sino yung kausap niyo kanina. Young bata na parang amerikano."
Prokopus looked confused.
"Sinong amerikano?"
"May amerikano po dito kanina. Dito ba yun? Tapos kausap niyo"
"Imagination mo lang yun"
"Imagination ko lang nga ba yun?"
"nakatulog ka habang nag ju-Judo tayo"
Right. I did fall asleep. Raymund tried to think about the events past. Spirit binding. He remembered the old man sayjng something about Spirit Binding.
"Spirit Binding"
"huh?"
"Spirit Binding po. Sinabi niyo na tuturuan niyo ako tungkol sa Spirit Binding"
The old man was silent for a minute. Neither one of them dared to break the silence. Even though Raymund was quite sure that what happened did happen there was a slight doubt in his mind.
Was he just imagining things?
"WAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Mr. Prokopus was laughing so hard he dropped to his knees. "Rey, pakinggan mo nga ito"
I guess I really was just imagining things. Raymund thought to himself. "kung ganun ano talaga yung nangyari?"
He asked quietly.
"Oy Raymund, mag pa test ka na kaya. Malala na yang hallucination mo ha" Rey entered the room right after the old man called. "Nandun ako ng mag Judo kayo no. Simula pa lang ng laro niyo na knock out ka na"
So that's what happened.
Location: Somewhere in Naga City
The place looked exactly like the room that Raymund found himself in. A teenage kid probably about 15 years old sat behind a large desk. There was an array of books behind him. A ceiling fan rotated lazily above.
The kid was handsomely dressed. His black suit looked really expensive.
An older gentleman stood right in front of his desk. It was Mr. Prokopus.
"Nelson. How did it go?"
"He's confused."
"Good. How did you do it?"
"I reconstructed the memories of one of my subordinate to act as a witness. I used him to support my statements to Raymund. I tried to reconstruct Raymund's as well but...."
"Was his aura strong enough to prevent you from reconstructing?"
"I told you. He is ready."
"Lets not put him in a position where he might get killed"
"Not teaching him how to use his powers will get him killed"
"Thats why we have you. Be there. Protect him from demons who might try to eat him for his powers."
"He is ready"
"He is not." The young man slowly stood from his chair. "but you may train him subtly."
"Thank you"

"To be honest, I think it's too early for him to come to us"
"pero"
"Walang pero pero. Take this boy out of this place now"
"ano daw"
"He's coming to" the teenager approached him and touched his forehead with his finger. Immediately, Raymund went back to sleep.
"Who was that guy?"

CBSUA Ghost Stories 2
“Ano kayang nangyari dun sa babae na yun” goosebumps raced all over his body. “ehhhhh” Raymund rubbed his forearms. Rooted on the spot he dared not move an inch. Then, suddenly it dawned on him. What if she’s already behind him?
Slowly he turned his head. Suddenly his eyes was flooded with white light. As he focused he saw a face that almost stop his heart.
A skull was infront of him.
“WAAAAAAAAAAAA” he reached for his sidearm. But as he held the handle he found himself spinning. Soon his arm was twisted around his back forcing him to let go of the gun.
“o easy lang, ako toh”
“Sir?”
“WAHAHAHAHA”
The old guy gave him back his pistol. “Sir, ano yung nakita kong bungo kanina?”
“Anong bungo? Basagin ko kaya ang bungo mo. Mukha ko yun!”
“Ah sorry sir.”
“Ito, dalhin mo itong radio para naman maka radio ka kung kailangan”
“Salamt po sir” Raymund said embarrassingly. Mr. Prokopus walked slowly away back to the guard house. “Kaipuhan mo yan. Baka mag butwa siya bigla. WAHAHAHAHAHA”
“Ano ba yan. Teka may bala ba ito?” He took his pistol out and checked. It was. And like always, his pistol was shiny clean. Then all of the sudden he found himself right infront of the MPS bathroom. “teka lang, pano ako napunta dito?”
It was very dark. He reached for his torch only to realize that Mr. Prokopus took it with him. Wide eyed he darted towards the exit. But what happened next froze him cold.
There was an eerie sound coming from the bathroom. Like wind howling. And footsteps slowly approaching. “uhh bakit ba kasi may third eye pa ako??” he struggled with all his might but his legs wont move.
He remembered his lolo telling him that ghosts posses the capacity to cast fear on their victims to render them immobile. In his family, he was the only one who inherited his lolo’s power. The third eye. But unlike his lolo who can stand his ground against violent spirits, all he can do is scream.
Or can he?
He tried to do it but as he opened his mouth no sound came out. He was 100% sure he’s next to disappear.
Then the footsteps stopped coming. What happened?
“Nani ga shitte iru ka?”
“Huh….?” Still frozen Raymund listened carefully to another voice. A male’s voice. A human voice.”
“nani mo nai” A high pitched womans voice retorted angrily.
“Get out. I told you before you cant stay here.”
“But this place is the most suitable for me”
“nag uusap sila” Raymund told himself as he wiggled his toes to break free of the spell.
“I get constantly fed in this place ya know” The woman said again. “Patay, nangangain ata ng tao ang multo na ito” he can feel water dripping down his socks now. "Ano ba yan...dapat kasi nag ihi na ako kanina pa."
“And what about him?” The guy asked again.
“Well, he was so scared so I thought I'd sucked that one out too”
“huh..bampira ba to??” Raymund was screaming with fear in his head.
“This is your last warning. Go before I kill you”
“yeah yeah….I’m leaving then….ittekimasu”
“Itte kimasu janai yo!! Sayounara”
“yeah whatever”
It was a few seconds of silence before Raymund faced them. But they were gone.
“Sino ba yun?”

CBSUA Ghost Stories 1
Time: 2AM
Place: Guard House
It was a cold and breezy night. The moon was not out and only the faint light of the stars illuminated the sky. An older man was standing near a pillar and leaning as he’s yosi’s smoke dissipate in the wind.
A young dude wearing a guards uniform just like the old man slowly approached him. He seemed like he wants to say something but is being held back. Apprehensive. Finally he mustered his courage to speak up.
“Sir” “uh?” The older guard kept his eye fixed on the gate as if waiting for somebody. Uninterested to the guy who was just transferred to the night shift.
“Sir, wala pa ata si Rey”
“Mag a-absent daw yun.”
“Huh? Ganun po ba?”
Raymund looked terrified which finally caught the old man’s eyes.
“O, Anong problema?”
“Eh sir. Wala pala akong kasama sa pag patrol mamaya.”
The man was silent for a second before his laughter cracked the night air. Raymund felt really embarrassed and angry. He knew exactly what Mr. Prokopos was thinking. Well, its not the first time somebody asked the old man this question.
“uy bata. Nasaan ba ang B*&^g mo?”
“Sir naman. Hindi naman sa takot ako…” Raymund stopped talking as he realized that he just gave himself away with his words.
“Wahahahaahha!” Mr. Prokopus laughed harder this time.
Raymund slowly backed away from the guard house. “Nasaan na ba kasi yang si Rey. Bakit ngayon pa nag absent?” He murmured to himself.
“O wag ka masyado maglayo. Naglalayog to. Baka sakloton ka! WAHAHAH”
Nobody wanted to be assigned to the night shift.
It was five years ago when Alysa Guerero mysteriously disappeared in the girls bathroom in MPS. That was 5 days after she reported seeing a bloody girl standing behind her as she combed her hair. When she turned to look there was nobody there. After that her dorm mates had to endure sleepless nights. They said the most bizarre incidents happened in Alysa’s room the nights following the bathroom incident. Events that was hair raising and sounds enough to give you goosebumps followed Alysa until she finally disappeared.
Her classmates said that she took off one night at 12. They followed her as she ran fast towards the MPS building. Her bestfriend said that she saw her turn towards the bathroom.
But nobody dared follow. They were now so creeped out because of Alyssa’s story of the bloody girl. But they waited for her to come out. She didn’t.
5 years later a rookie guard armed with a trembling flashlight paced uneasily.
“Pwede naman ako mag resign” He thought. “Pero kung gagawin ko yun. Mas iisipin ni Sir na duwag ako”
His eyes gazed towards the direction of MPS. His route was to check every building towards Agrosoil including the dreaded MPS. “Kaya ko toh!”
That’s the spirit.
Slowly, Raymund walked his way. His flashlight steadily pointed down. He was scared he might see something even before he gets there.
What is waiting for him?
Abangan next week....
In the meantime, siguraduhin na mag ingat habang mag isang gumagamit ng CR. Baka ikaw naman ang sumunod......(itutuloy)

How to flunk your practical exam
Oh what the freak! We were like frogs dipped on boiling oil!
And I told myself, if I dont calm down. I will surely fail. I discoverd the first step to failing. In order to fail
YOU MUST PANIC
if you dont then you will remember everything that you study and you will pass.
So, knowing that, I did exactly the opposite. I calmed down so I can remember the terms.
We had to memorize the common name, phylum, and class of 15 different creatures from the depths of the science lab preserved vault.
Now, as I calmed down I discoverd the second step to failing.
STUDY BESIDE A VERY TALKATIVE PERSON whose topic is so far fetched from the task at hand. These kinds of people are either already prepared or theyre just flat out stupid that they dont care whether they pass or not. They are the kind of people who rather talk about make up, the latest movies, or their hair.
I was unlucky enough to stand by a person in the line who despite all the help I did for this person during the review process, this person decided that its alright to keep on asking me for answers, so loud that the teacher heard him all the time. Plus its not like it wasnt hard enough to take the test, I also had to endure this persons obnoxious mental probe. Buddy I hope I dont stand by you on the next exam. Your a good person but your the kind of good person who have the tendency to drag people down. Peace!
The third step in order to fail is to be too compasionate during the exam.
Be heartless. Dude. No matter what do not lend answers. Your not helping them by giving them answers. Imagine what willl happen if they dont learn that cheating is wrong. They grow up to become cheaters in the world who will cheat wherever they go. That is why corruption is everywhere. Because the people who were once cheaters during their time in school are the ones getting elected.
By lending him/her answers you are jeopardizing the future. Not only his future but the future of the WHOLE WIDE WORLD!
So dont help him cheat.
As for you cheaters. I hope you change. YOU are endangering the future of so many lives including yourselves. So, do yourselves a favor and start studying so you dont have to cheat.
Peace!

A way out
and the mistakes of mentors who for some odd reason find it beautiful to see students suffering in their clutches....very odd indeed
